Engaging Leadership contains articles on leadership written by Mitch McCrimmon, Ph.D. 40+ years of executive assessment and coaching. All content is free to access. One early article, "Bottom-up Leadership" argued that leadership could be defined as promoting a better way, up, down, sideways or even from an external source. Leadership conceived as a position in a hierarchy is outdated. The central theme of all my writing on leadership is that leadership can't be defined as a type of person or a role because it can be shown by people without such traits and outside any such role. |
